So I have an indoor DWC hydro grow of two autos. The big, wild bastard is Critical Jack and the other one is Bubblicious. Since I'm not much of a calendar guy, I never know the exact date these things broke the rockwool, but I generally estimate around Feb. 12. They started flowering around March 27-30.
Now, I haven't really treated the two plants differently since I got started, but there was about a two week period when the Bubblicious almost died because of nutrient burn so I took it out of the hydro system, potted it in some soil for a couple weeks and when the leaves began turning green again, I moved it back in the system and it's been growing fine ever since. It even started flowering at almost the exact same time as the Critical Jack.

The reason I mention the treatment is because, as you can see, my Critical Jack has grown in a way I have never seen anyone else's plant grow nor was it intentional. I didn't do any sort of topping, it just started growing wild shortly after flowering to the point where now, outside of the leaves and buds, it doesn't resemble a cannabis plant at all. Also, it seems to have somewhere north of 12 different kola sites (that's not including the regular bud sites). While obviously, I'm grateful for the massive yield, I don't exactly know what I did to get it here. Also, at about 4 weeks in (the seedbank gives a flowering timeline of 6-8 wks), is this adequate growth rate? It simply feels like the buds are taking a significantly longer time to fatten than I was led to believe.
Also, when do I begin flushing? And, sorry if this sounds dumb, I originally was under the impression flushing simply meant cutting off the nutes and using plain ph-adjusted water until harvest but recently, I've read other descriptions of flushing that make it sound like it's a daily process that has to happen often. I know my questions are probably very basic and I also know y'all tend to ignore non-sophisticated questions, but I just want to make sure I get this right, it's been a very very very long grow, considering every time I asked about the total time from seed to harvest, people said things like 70 days or less and I'm at Day 70 today and this thing doesn't look even a quarter of the way done flowering. So you can imagine my frustration...
