It wasn't a rove beetle unless you melted the shit outta that little feller before you took that pic.
But there are over 4000 identified species ofmrove beetles, and the last pic he posted does look like one. I think he IDed it right. They look like earwigs without the pincers.
Look into getting a pizza oven. Pizza Hut and Papa John's both have the conveyor types.

Yeah it was madness. I was around 10. Sometimes there would be snakes or spiders, but it was usually earwigs.
