Strains to use for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)???

My knowledge regarding MS is extremely limited, but to my understanding it is an extremely painful and debilitating disease. One of my friends has recently been diagnosed with MS, and I can't help but feel for them. None of the medication the doctors give her is effective, and the only thing that calms down the "flare ups" is medical marijuana.

What truly sucks is, medical marijuana isn't available where I live. The doctors looks her in the eye with a straight face, and proceed to write her opiate prescriptions...Ineffective opiate prescriptions.

So I figured, shit, I'm already risking going to prison for life growing medicine for myself, so why not help somebody else too?

I'll be selecting a strain to grow and donate to this person I know, my question is...

Does anybody know any MS patients, or have any recommendations for an effective strain for the symptoms?? I am thinking that high THC and CBD levels would be most beneficial, making me lean towards a variety such as Cataract Kush or LA Confidential. The LA Con is a pain in the ass to grow though, in my opinion. Thanks for any help in advance!!

I have a few ms patients in my collective and they generally use heavy indicas. There are some sativas that work well for ms as well, but u have to be careful.. no og kush... Arctic Sun is a sativa that works well for ms off the top of my head..
