In consistently hot regions — like the Mediterranean or Southern California — some cannabis strains tend to perform better than others. Extreme temperatures can stress plants, reduce yield, or impact quality.

Meet the 4 strains for this summer:

Haze Berry
Known for strong, stable genetics. Often holds up well in heat, producing dense, resinous buds.

Lemon Shining Silver Haze
A quick-flowering sativa hybrid with a citrus-forward profile. Appears to thrive in bright, direct sun.

Shining Silver Haze
Tall and vigorous. Performs reliably in warm environments, especially with proper hydration.

Amnesia Haze
Takes longer to finish but tends to handle heat better than expected. Suitable for experienced growers with time.

General traits observed in these cultivars:
Low susceptibility to heat stress
Good tolerance of full sun
Consistently solid yields under warm conditions

️ Cultivation tip:
For growers in high-heat zones, consider:
  • Heavy mulching to retain soil moisture
  • Shading pots during peak hours
  • Early morning foliar sprays if temps regularly exceed 35°C / 95ºF
Tried any of these yet? What’s your go-to trick for growing in the sunny season?
