Strains for PTSD?

I am trying to find alternatives to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder other than pills. Are there certain strains out there that help with this?

I just read an article on this very subject. Seems that MJ can give a lot of people relief from a variety of conditions. If you are in one of those states that allow Medical MJ, you could try several strains and narrow it to the one that works best for you.

i ordered a 4 different strains on the 4th, and got 11 strains free. i looked around specifically for a great variety so i can breed and hopefully get a custom strain specifically for me.

the one that stood out in particular was http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/mandala-seeds/mandala-seeds-ganesh/prod_1056.html .. i really hope i am able to find a good mix because ive never had one strain that helps all of my problems, its usually a mix and match, leaving something to be desired

i have not found any smoke reports though, so i just hope its what im looking for

this strain would not be good for PTSD stay away from the heady paranoi inducing sativas. What you can do if you find a couple indicas that work well with different conditions what you can do is take an 1/8 of each kind of bud grind it up super find in a coffee grinder and then bake it at 190 degrees for 25 minutes.

then put the weed mix in to capsules you can get at like GNC and then eat 2-4 of them depending on your tolerence and you will get the mixed effects of both weeds.

I would recommend if you have some in your state meet with a physician that specialized in medical marijuana. Here is a list of the doctors by state. Good luck

My best friend is a retired Marine with 5 combat tours from the gulf war in the 90's to the disasters in Iraq/Afghanistan. Dude is a straight up assassin. I have had 4 bullets pulled out of me and a few other mishaps along the road - I'm all kinds of fucked up. We both agree that hand's down White Russian kicks PTSD, depression/suicide in the fucking nuts. If you're controlling the supply, harvest when the trich tips have just started to turn a golden amber. Thank me for it later. FYI: It's not a pain strain.

thanks man. i struggle bad with depression and will add that to my next grow.

No problem, my fiancé is all about the sativas. She has no pain issues so it's all about the mind for her. We all love it. We are also trying Paradise Seeds Dutch Dragon. 1996 CC Bio award (I could have the yr wrong). Good luck finding something that works - keep me posted.
