Hello there intruiged RIU members, welcome to the thread I've entitled "Strain Test Pilot". My intention is to open the thread to the public in determining which strain you would like to see a comprehensive soil /organic indoor grow with. As I am an avid Haze and Diesel family enthuisiast so the strains offered will be of those varieties. I've not only chosen some infrequent seeds, but also some challenging strains. The strain list is as follows:

The attached thumbnails are in order from 1 -8 as the following list details:

1. GreenhHouse - Arjans Haze #3

2. Barneys Farm - Red Diesel
3. GreenHouse - Super Lemon Haze (HTCC 08' Gold Winner)
4. SOMA - Haze Heaven
5. Delta9 - Southern Lights
6. Flying Dutchman - Temple Haze
7. ACE - Old Timers Haze
8. Lowlife Auto AK47/NYC Diesel

I will have pictures up within the next day so you all have a visual of the strains as some may be foreign to some of you.

April 1, 2009 I will be purchasing the winning strain as voted by the RIU members and will grow it in organic soil, with organic nutrients, appropriate lighting, and temperature / humidity controlled. I will update the journal regularily and will carefully document everything for research.

This is a great chance for those of you that would like to grow some of these strains but aren't quite sure what to expect as far as what's needed and your expectations. Let me be your guinea pig. I look forward to hearing from you all, please vote on the poll. Thank you for stopping by :bigjoint:

I would love to see Southern Lights, Temple Haze, Red Diesel, and Arjan's Haze #3! How many do you plan on planting? Please let me know and I will either add more wishes or take some away.. I would appreciate it if you could grow these, as they are all fairly rare in the major majority of grows.

I would have to say, at this point I think that if there's enough interest, I may grow two genetics if there is a demand for the knowledge. I have particular interest in growing the Temple Haze, the Southern Lights, and the Old Timers Haze but it ultimately won't be my decision ;-). I'll be growing 3 of each (max. 2) genetic or 6 of the single most popular strain. There's still 42 days until the poll closes so there is still time to get people voting, I'm looking forward to hearing what the people want

Thanks for the interest guys, happy to see there are more genuine Haze lovers out there than I thought. I'm really loving the idea of growing OT Haze, however I'm almost 90% sure I'm buying the AK47 x NYCD Auto from Lowlife within the next couple days. Keep casting those votes, plenty of time yet, spread the word. I want what you all want. Happy Growing

Word brotha, good to hear it, I like the support ;-). I have a real hankering for a nice colorful strain which is why I'm leaning towards to OT personally. The votes are coming in strong now, thanks again chaps

:!: I see many people visiting the site, yet there are limited amounts of votes ... Come on people, help the thread come to a concise winner or run-away duo. The poll ends on March 30 so make sure you cast your vote and drop a line. Thanks guys, good growing

This is a two part experiment for me really, one I'll get to try a new strain undetermined by myself, and secondly I get to see the way the RIU members vote and what the growers are interested in seeing. I shall have fun I think :bigjoint:, but I want this grow to also be well documented so others can learn as I do through the process with a new strain. Thanks for the support guys, keep the word out, I want to see at least 100 votes by the close date!! Happy growing all

Hey Kush where do you get the Old Timers Haze from. Just in case it doesn't end up in the top two. I still would like to get some.:weed:

Haha, I totally changed my vote according to how the plants look from pictures. You can't read a book (plant) by it's cover (title) hahaha... not always, anyways... These two got my vote: 6. Flying Dutchman - Temple Haze
7. ACE - Old Timers Haze
