Strain selection help

I am new to growing and really have no clue about anything. I plan on growing outdoors, and I live in New England.
I am looking for a strain that will give a decently high yeild and will do well without being babysat all the time.
I want a plant that will give somewhere in the middle of a high and stoned feeling, more towards high. I
want to to be smooth and sweet, nothing too bitter. Any help is greatly appreciated.
