Strain Colors

Im trying to get to the bases or the meaning of the strain colors i.e. Purp, white, etc etc. I just want to identify them and figure out if the strain color has a certain charateristic? I will like to try to include a few of each in my grow. The seeds will be coming from Nirvana. Thanks

blue/purple strains are generally sweeter in taste and fruitier. sometimes less potent

white strains are usually white widow crosses and are very potent and full of resin hence the white.

^^^ agreed. purple strains are heavier like kush and more indica. white strains can be very sativa.

Thank you guys. + rep.... Hey Frost you have been on top of many questions today and I thank you for that. It can be a bit rough getting info as a newbie on a forum @ times. So how does this look... The strains will be from Nirvana as stated and all femmed seeds. I will like to run 4-6 products from them. I will like wonder woman for yeild. White widow, Bubblelicious, the indoor mix for fun. Does that sound good to you all? I want alot of variety in this grow. If not what 4-6 strains fron them would get me a nice mix of purple and whites in my grow. P.S. The Ice and the NYPD are looking pretty nice from the by the way.

ive got no expeirience with nirvana but a couple buddies have grown the ak48 and thier nl is real good from what i saw.

if you wanna try some real nice blue strains that are pretty easy to grow check out peakseedsbc, look at his northernberry (BBxNL5) and skunkberry (BBxSkunk) , he also just added kushberry recently and it looks real good.....prices are more than fair and i can personally vouch for his gear. i been growing it since 06.

if your gonna run diff strians try to get ones that gel together as far as height / nutes and stuff goes..it will make things alot easier on you.
