If not stored for a very long time I suggest a well-sealed, maybe double, plastic bag inside your refrigerator. They keep very well there and do fine when used. Freezing works well but when you thaw them it is best to let them thaw and then sit in the refrigerator for a while instead of just setting the frozen seeds on your counter or wherever. It more replicates the seasonal change from winter, when it could/would be natural for seeds to be frozen, to the spring thaw when seeds would thaw slowly and then be cold for a while.

Being that I have never frozen beans and then thawed them in any way or another I do not have any experience but I will pass on a short version of a story I was told one day about that way of freezing/thawing seeds.

A man I know grows exotic trees from seed. His germ rate was always respectably high but he began to think about the natural seasonal cycle and tried what I said above. The first time he used it he had a 100% germ rate and we are talking about a guy that grows like acres of these trees. He said he never had that again but since doing that his average germ rate for frozen beans went up a good bit.

No he wasn’t working with marijuana seeds and in his case all his seeds always came frozen, that is how they are sold/shipped, so he had to deal with frozen seeds but there is no reason to believe that it might not have a similar or even exact same effect on marijuana seeds as on any other type of seeds, with the possible exception of pure strains from regions where freezing conditions never occur. Possibly they might not much care for being frozen to begin with and one thawing process over another might not make any difference to them.

i have heard of people finding old seeds that were dried out and thought to be dead, threw in the ground and a plant grew, i keep mine in a pill bottle seem to be doin ok
