Iv had a clone box that Iv built and ran now for a while and I thought Id share a bit on how it turned out. The box I believe is a 35-40 gallon storage container with 2 x 120mm and 1x80mm PC fans, sprayed white on the inside and black on the outside. I got the cheapest bathroom light fixture I could find and zip tied them to the sides of the bin. I had the bin laying upright but needed more space so now its sideways on top of my tent. Running are 3 23w 6500k cfls.
Pictured is the progress over 3 weeks. I really like that they are growing at just the right pace for me. I am running 2 small tents so I need plants every 4-5 weeks and with this setup they do not grow too fast and they are not stretching too much. Also, because the lights are off to the side and not above I have notice the plants growing out more instead of up. I am running the lights and fans 24h a day and at just about 80 watts for everything the electricity bill will not reflect a big rise.
