I've lost a few small time clients lately, I didn't think it was a big deal, but it adds up to about $1500-$2000 a month. I'm currently growing more than I'm selling, the only positive of this is that being months behind, some jars get up to a six month cure before sale. I've got to get out this summer to market my wares. I love taking long rides around the city on my ebike, sometimes up to 45 miles. I've been wanting to get my kid the same kick-ass ebike as a belated graduation present so we can go adventuring together, but as I mentioned I have been a little short lately. My sister called to tell me that one of her clients that tried my shit months ago wanted a quarter pound of Heavy Duty Fruity, which was great as that strain hasn't been selling well. A couple hours later I was looking for some glue in a drawer, and I found $700 that I hid in there weeks ago. What a fucking stoner! So, now I can buy him that bike. We've all been happily surprised by finding shit we've forgot about, but forgetting that amount makes me wonder if I should cut down on the weed. How about it, what's the best thing you lost/misplaced then found again?

Edit - Fucked up the poll, I was gonna add a few more choices including the obligatory Shit Stomp and Pinworm. Too bad you can't fix that once the thread is posted. I suck...

A week after my daughter was born the classic car i drove her home from the hospital in got stolen.
On her 16th birthday she told me she wanted one of those cars for her first car.
A week later i was in a scrap yard looking for some rare car parts and lo and behold i found my long lost car. It was beyond repair but i still had a tow truck drag it home.
To sentimental to leave it in the scrap yard

Amazing! At least you didn't do it to yourself ;) Good story...

Man i wish i had more bud than i could sell.

Ummm i got a couple. I lost my drivers license somewhere between kicking the door in and running out with a flatscreen and misc items. Was freaking out for a couple days, got a call from this trap..they had it..hell yea.

Umm I found an oz of coke hiding in my walls and light sockets, i must have been pretty messed up

Still looking for my heart and soul..i think it might have been misplaced with my ex wifes things during the divorce.

I have a massive surplus of everything homedepot related to growing. Hvac, cords, timers, pipe, hooks, plastic.. The hole lot. I always forget what I have and go walking around the depot blazed.. Get home look at what I bought and oh look another hose clamp great I'll add it to the pallet of hose clamps I already have

I have a separate pile for lowes too

Me fucking to I buy so much shit I already have cause I thought i needed it. Then the wife says no wonder why we don't always make the intended # I always have to pay back 1 thousand minimum to replace the money I borrowed from my stash cause I had to have it and have 5 more in shed. Or I go to the hydro store and say I am gonna try a new way of growing... buy ebb not flow tables hydrotherapy pumps etc etc and get home and say jaw I will stay organic I literally have prob a 8x8x8 area for all new grow shit I have never used

I am a contractor... I do this all the time. My garage is filled with tools and equipment but when i need something i can never find it so i just buy new shit and then lose that Hahaha.

I am also VERY Good friends with everyone in pro services at both blowes and the depot... So needless to say i get shit for discounted prices or they pass it through without ringing it up.... Yay free shit!

However, its never Good when I'm writing up estimates for my customers... Especially deck jobs... One job i contracted last year was a 12.5' x 31' deck along with a restructure of the old. Needless to say i forgot to include $650.00 in the deck boards because i was smoking while writing my material list Hahaha how the Fuck did i manage to not write up the most important part of the deck needed for walking on? Lmfao

Did you rewrite the bill.or eat the cost

Daily. Almost every time I walk into the walk in fridge I forget what I was there for. Then I grab something else and start on that project instead. Eventually I get it all done but I am definitely losing my short term memory.

What was the question again?

Good stuff, gentlemen. Glad to see I'm not alone with this phenomenon. I keep buying shit I already have, too. When I need it, I need it now and I'm not organized enough to find it, so it's easier to just buy it again :)

My problem is there is a Lowe's or Depot 5 minutes from me in either direction not to mention every grow shop in my State is 25 minutes from me. You'd think i enjoy spending money aimlessly

@tyler.durden you'd be blown away at how many circular saws and sawzalls i own now.... Good thing i own a construction company and always have back ups though

That's how I look at it, the extras I buy are simply backups, and when I move and scale up the grow I'll be able to use most of this extra shit. Sounds better than I'm a hopeless stoner that wasted a ton of $ on shit I didn't need ;)
