That was my original thread for my plants that were sick, but they have never gotten better. I have had them away form he light for some time now and they are still sick. I have looked so many places to try and find a cure or what is wrong with them and I still have had no luck. What is wrong with them!!??

Number of Plants: 2 (Planted: 1-16 and 1-21) 1 (Seedling)

Water Schedule: Using finger to check the first inch or so of soil... If dry, then watering is required. (Usually about every 2-3 days, Now a little bit longer)

stick your lights on them 24 hours keep watering normally and just let it go of course some leaves are dead but it should grow out of it you can already see fresh growth

joe, are there hole in the bottom of those cups? if not, they are water logged. even if the top soil feels dry, the roots may be sitting in water. they need oxygen and dry out time for health.

My oldest plant still looks worse off then it did last week, any new growth just doesnt look green, its coming in yellow if anything.

I also have had my lights on for 24 hours and water cycle of 4 days now to make sure its dry and no over watering...

Here is a picture of the bottom of a solo cup I have

*EDIT* When I water my plants water always drains out the holes fairly fast, when I see signs of water coming out I stop watering, have not gotten down the exact amount yet

is the ph of the water your using ok?is the concentration of nutes in the soil too high?some soils to strong for seedlings.

I have been using bottled water for every watering so I believe the pH would be fine. I would like to get a pH meter, but the stores I have been to have been out and said they wont be getting any for a couple weeks, so I still dont have a meter.

As for the soil nutes, one was seedling soil, So I believe that should be fine, as for the organic grow soil, I need to check that.. I asked about that in my last thread but that was ignored....

The back on the bag of soil says:

Guaranteed Analysis .06 - .09 -.06
Total Nitrogen (N) ................... .06%
Available Phosphate (P2 O5)...... .09%
Soluble Potash (K2 O) .............. .06%

Primary food sources derived from aerobically composted turkey litter and hydrolyzed feathermeal.

*This product contains .048% slow-released Nitrogen.

dont water for two to three days and see if they improve you dont want to just check the top inch of soil your roots are in the bottom so if theyre constantly wet they cant breathe. i have a question how did you germinate the seeds and do you have more to start again if you have to?

"Guaranteed Analysis .06 - .09 -.06"

It is your soil that is causing the the issue. Soil NPK's for a seedling or vegging plant needs to have a higher nitrogen content. So your little plants are suffering from a nitrogen defiency.

Check out the Growfaqs section on this site and you will find the solution for a nitrogen defiency fix. You can often fix seedling issues, especially if it is the soil, by simply replanting into a new organic soil with a better balance of the npk. During veg they need more nitro (N) and potasium (K) than phosphate (P).

Hope this helps

whatsthatsmell: I tried replanting another seed I had so that I could try and start over in just the seedling soil that I had, has no nutes in it. But the plant is growing slow still, but its nice and greeeeen :(

My other two plants that I originally had are nearly dead now, they are pretty much all dried up.

rezo: I have been only watering my plants about every 3-4 days so that they woudl be dry enough. As for germinating I used the wet paper towel and put it on top of my pc case... All seeds were germed within 24 hours.

brasmith: I figured it was my soil. Everytime I go to the store, I have trouble finding one, they never have one that looks right and I made a stupid mistake and figured that "Organic" ment that it was alright to use even for seedlings. Ill try fixin my nitrogen and make it work if not no biggie, I do have some more bag seed that I can try one, just wanted to get this to work before I move on to some White Rhino I got :)

dude! I know you have rock wool but maybe order some rapid rooters.not that exspensive and there already fertilized for seedlings.you dont have to mess the ferts for a while.I just throw my seedlings in the rapid rooter, and water them with plain water.they go off. and when they get a couple sets of leaves throw them right in your soil mixture. And they will be stronger so you wont kill them so easy. your over doing it. and look at this web site Greenhouse-Sfeermakers van huis uit! it really help me alot.

what the fuck! I dont know why its putting all that french shit behind green house. here Ill try again www . green house. nl

Freaking out much? Haha Ill check out the site, thanks... Maybe I should start with some rock wool. I have a good couple more seeds to try with.
