hallway style closet that is 8 feet long but only 2 feet wide. crap lighting footprint. wanting to grow four ladies but obviously going to have to put them in a single row line about 1 ft apart. first option is a 400w/200w combo only one reflector obviously goin on the 400w. mh/hps combo. plus vortex 6" fan. 200 on craigslist if the guy holds it for me which i told him to hold me down........3 250w off amazon for 110 each so about 350 with shipping WHOAH. dumb expensive, or 3 t5 for the same prices give or take 10 ducks. i was thinking about the 3 hps for the intensity but for the uniformity of lighting for my wierdass closet i thought the t5 would more fully illuminate the plants since it would cover the length i guess better. i don't know though. i REALLY don't want to spend 350 for lights....you serious. lights? wtf? i might go with the craiglist if he comes through and doesn't end up sellin elsewhere and getting some 25w cfls for side lighting which would still be cheaper probably like 250-275(with my walmart discount LOL get them bulbs cheap lol) and would give me the best of both worlds in terms of good lights and uniform lighting EVEN near the roots where they don't get the best light. but idk. i'd have to save like 2 checks for that 350 option and that's no bueno. what are you guys outputs. btw i'm planning on having a box fan blowing air in through one side and the vortex fan hopefully if the guy comes through for exhaust with a carbon filter ONCE they start flowering. give me time to save for that too lol. even though i was thinking of buying one light if i had to online and putting them to veg UNTIL they need their space and then getting the rest of the lights. to give me time too but iono ya'll know the cards.....which hand should i play.

get a 1000watt hps for that much on craigslist or fleabay or a just an LED panel shoot even go the CFL route if it helps start quicker and just build from there. having a budget is good but it rarely stays that way when you think of all the other shit you forgot you'll need. just start off legit and safe within your budget and then all your worries will soon fade into a cloudy haze:bigjoint: i went from CFL built up to 4 1000 watt in no time (well maybe like 4-5 months) and now aiming to sell them and convert all mine into LED when my house is finished. you cant rush these kind of things but a start is a start...and its a wonderful and glorious thing to witness :weed: goodluck bro!

i say that because i sold 3 lights already for 250 each just to get them out the way, thats how craigslist goes, keep searchin for the deals and they will come...law of attraction eh? haha hope this helps even a little

1 word EBAY! I got my 400/600w mh/hps Batwing for $121 Fans only cost $25-$50(size and brand depending) snapshot-1.png
I actually won 4 different auctions this 1,600w,2 400w each was under $128

i'm going to take pictures of my closet and show you guys what i mean. if i was to put a 1kw in the middle of the closet the ends of the closet would still be pretty dark since its so thin and the light would bounce off the walls improperly. that's why i want to have 3 lights in a row essentially to give my closet the right lighting. its a sliding door closet to give you an idea that opens from either side.
