I saw him back on here in early december. You guys remember a few months ago when someone ratted StickyMango in florida out, they looked on riu and went to his house....showed his pic on the news and everything.
Any word on his progress, or lack of?
I don't remember if they mentioned it by name but his name Sticky Mango was mentioned in the article and that he had posted pictures of his plants on a weed forum.yea I also seen him on here awhile ago.Did they mention riu on the news?
only if they can track your IP and i heard they can't do that because the RIU server is based in Canada?
everythings fine. he just has to pay off 1500 dollars, they set a deal with the DA, etc.
it's some serious bullshit. but it's all good, and over with.
So he doesn't have to serve any time?
It looks like the police were tipped off and the pics were used against him. Check this out:all i can say is ... wow.

Wow,
I guess reporters don't verify info before publishing any more. It's a total lie to say this guy got busted because of his pics. Reason being that in this day and age of digital photography and photo editing software like photoshop, pictures can't be used as evidence unless the person being charged because of them, alledgedly, admits that he took the pictures and that the pictures were unedited. What it sounds like really happened was the cops made him think the pictures did him in and got him to confess. It was the confession that got him busted, not the pics. Nor did the pics lead to him unless he was stupid enough to post a picture that showed his address and/or real name. I doubt the police in Florida have so much free time on their hands as to visit marijuana related sites and scan thru pictures and then try to get a court order to trace IP addresses because they "think" someone might be in their jurisdiction. It's a shame this guy didn't excercise his right to remain silent, had he done so a decent lawyer probably could have got the case thrown out of court.
dont believe anything the media says.If you want to post pics just dont give anybody any idea where you live and you'll be good. This dude was a rare case,I bet he talked about his plants/riu around the neighborhood an someone snitched.Just keep your mouth shut about growing and you'll be fine. You could even start bullshitting on here and say your medical if your that paranoid.I doubt the police are gonna track someones ip address for some plants,A meth lab maybe but thats if they even know how to track ip's which I doubt there dumbasses know how to do.It looks like the police were tipped off and the pics were used against him. Check this out:
"Police said they got a tip that someone calling himself Sticky Mango had posted pictures on a Web site of the five marijuana plants he was growing."
That is a quote I copy and pasted from the article so somebody ratted him out. Posting pics online is just more ammo for the police to build a case. I don't post pics myself and if you aren't in a med state it's probably not a bad idea to keep a private album or not post pics at all. And who said the servers are in Canada? I've heard this before but I'd like to know how anybody can know for sure where the servers are located. Remember Overgrow? I'm pretty sure their servers were in Canada also.![]()
