Stealth grow: TGA's Jillybean? Kali Mist? Strawberry Cough? Suggestions wanted

From what I read it smells like mango/pineapple when smoked but what about when it is growing Am I likely to get a decent/good phenotype if I only germinate one seed? My understanding is it is fruity when smoke but how is the smell when growing?

Ideally I would be able to grow Kali Mist but space, smell, low yield, my inexperience, and long flowering times are why I am not growing it If anyone has a better stand in for Kali Mist than jillybean I would VERY MUCH appreciate your advice.

I am also interested in what people think of Strawberry cough vs the other 2.

joey weed's C99 is A LOT like kali mist in the THC profile & cheaper too, but much faster flowering. it doesn't have the delicious crushed red pepper flavor, but it's hints of grape aren't shabby. sadly, it's discontinued, but if you grab a pack before they're gone, C99 x A11 should be similar but maybe a bit more laid back with some extra psychoactivity.

i loved kali mist when i was gifted a gram in the late 90s (before 12.5% more indica was added) as it might have been the first ting that got me high in over 10 years (not counting mexican brick which is STILL better than stony greed weed as far as i'm concerned) unless i was gifted the gram of durban poison first, but i'm pretty sure THAT'S what i gave up bidding on at $12o AN EIGTH!

it't a fun buzz, but too racy to be able to chill to tunes on. it's pure activity weed. i ended up happily cleaning my house on it. it would be great gear to work on, play hard or on a date, but it and cindy don't like to sit still. mosca's C99 is supposedly trippy and sounds like more fun than just euphoria, creativity & motivation.

i'd suggest that high quality seeds' haze x skunk has a much better buzz. it's very creative, motivational & euphoric too, but it has NICE psychoactivity with just a SLIGHT hint of couchlock (nothing remotely impairing though) that agrees with movies & music more. there are probably better haze skunk crosses out there. you might want to look into TGA subcool's jack the ripper. at 8 weeks, it's pretty fast for a hazey plant and it's lemony or fruity (forgot which) flavor sounds even better than HxS cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray. there are a lot of haze skunk crosses out there including 1 or 2 cheeses and at least one lemon skunk cross that might be nice too. i can only go by what i've tried so far and can say HxS is the best i've smoked so far. it's more potent but less sensual & visual than columbian gold and has a very longlasting buzz you can still feel the next day and that builds up in your system. i imagine it has great pain relief qualities too as i ended up dieting on it by just ignoring hunger pangs and keeping busy. that, and it inspired me to break my 6 pack of tall ones a night habit cold turkey.

i REALLY like mandala's 8 miles high too. it's supposedly a 50:50, but unlike only 25% afghani skunk #1, it has absolutely no couchlock and lots of playful euphoria. the closest thing to "stoney" i'd call it is mellow. it just has a perfectly neutral balance you can either chill on or have fun with. just 2 hits, and i was having so much fun on it, i got up and started doing the robot. it's not as activity specific as ORIGINAL kali mist that might be a little mellower now though with more indica.

if you want something really exotic and don't mind slow flowering & a lower yield, short stuff's super cali haze is delicious grape flavored and has a buzz just like pure haze too without comparing them side by side. it's a very fun & classy buzz somewhere between 8 miles & haze skunk, but with by far the best flavor.

if you want a really mellow laugh your ass off buzz with some stone to it that everyone seems to love, try TGA's jillybean, but i'll stick with more energetic laughing buddha myself.

try reading all the product descriptions at a big bank like attitude and see what sounds most interesting to you and come back for second opinions. there are so many great strains with almost as many personalities out there.

Jillybean grows like a sativa, can get big and yield big too, smells like some strong brewed orange tea, really citric and sweet, some candy flavor to it with a nice cure. vigorous and trains well, tops can stink up a room to smell like tangerines and oranges. Strong high with upbeat do-things motivation. TGA Vortex definitely smells like mangoes/lemons iced tea and candy. its another good strain i like the smell better than jillybean imo, jilly yields better and turns a incredible dark gray/purple in flower when exposed outdoors and i'd recommend it to anyone.

I've Used an orange velvet dominant female for my Orange Skunk cross Made of Jillybean X(Shivaskunk X Agent orange) and its a pretty incredible plant, stable genetics as well. Quality you can expect from TGA and Jill the breeder of the strain got it right the first time.
