well back again with another grow runnin 6 23 watt 6500ks for veg and 4 42 watt and 2 30 watt bulbs in a smallish rubbermaid. ill probly go scrog here due to height restrictions got 2 mothers growing in my sig so ill run clones in this when theyre done... for now ill put some seeds in. right now im germing some bag seeds. ill probly get more of the hindu x invader in my pc. ill probly run 6-8 plants.

note* not vented yet need to find if the temps stay low without cutting into the trunk if not the best spot to vent too

well one of the plants looks retarded haha i guess its just a slow pheno

i bought a little white 6 inch fan from walmart. it has two settins a low and a high and its real quiet. It also come with a clamp bottom and plate so it can stand or clamp to something. The best part is its only 4.90 you can afford 5 dollars i know you can lol. i think its on one of the pictures in my grow on here, it was helluh ghetto to begin with but is coming along nice now.

yea ill probly get one or two pc fans... then i think ill vent it through a diy carbon filter then through aluminom vent hose and out the back left part of the trunk........ i just need to get the supplies. i want to keep this clean. ill proubly get some mylar for the lid and walls

well one of my canidates for future mom looks great the other not so much. the bag seeds are taking forever to germ so ill get the good ones after i finish the exhaust this weekend

How are you germinating the seeds? Proper heat will rapidly accelerate the process. Around 80-90F.

Hey man, i'm working on a 2 sq ft sog too. I have a 2ft metal filing cab for flowering, and i want to get a rubermaid container for mothers/clones. I just made zen style filters, except I only used 1 pencil cup! Just use two layers of stocking on the outside to hold the carbon, saved me $5 per filter and they work great. Think real hard about how/where you're going to mount them because its a pain in the ass and you only want to set it up once.

yea the exhaust is basically done except for the carbon filter and light proofing. cutting through that trunk was a bitch with hand tools. ill put up some pics

this way you dont see a carbon filter hanging out or a hole lotta wires going into it.... i wouldnt really get that much more room anyway

One thing you have to understand about cooling is that your lights put out a certain amount of heat, and your fan removes a certain amount. The only way to manage temp is to find the balance. I have 2 4.5" exhaust fans(with filters), and 1 input for my box. If that box is airtight, you could get more intake fans to help push air through the filter. Otherwise you'll have to have more fans and filters to keep a negative pressure.

the trunk is close to air tight.... i have one 120mm pc fan pulling air out of the trunk and one 80mm pc fan pulling air outta the rubbermaid. i have a 8 in fan pushing air through the rubbermaid and passive intake for the trunk.... the temps are in the low 100's and i think i need to put another 120mm in the passive intake..... i used pantyhose to light proof the intake and exhaust and i think that is really raising the temps too it feels like it is restricting airflow any advice
