Stay at home Mom that likes Gardening

Hi, I'm new to this site. I am a stay at home Mom that likes to garden, although I've never grown anything but flowers and veggies. I have never grown cannabis, so I found this website and was hoping to learn more. I didn't realize how complicated growing this particular plant could be. I feel like I'm going to have to read for weeks just to learn the basics! Thanks for all the helpful information.

if you have a good understanding of gardening it isnt that hard. people just like to become what i call "helicopter" parents to their cannabis plants, they treat them more likea bubble child rather than a plant and freak out at every opportunity of nothing.

welcome to the forum, we have a gardening area specifically for herbs, veggies and flowers that you might like.

mj is one of the easiest plants to grow. i've been growing plants of all kinds for nurseries, landscapers and others for 40 years, yet i enjoy growing cannabis the most. it's so fast and u can watch the progress daily. the best part is the smoke after some curing. nothing like it! GL

Well welcome to riu, mj is not as hard as some people make it to be, it's a weed, just plant it and feed it, that's all it takes, you've grown flowers and vegs, you can grow mj with no problems, most people as sunni says tend to pay too much attention to their grows, they hover over them and jump to all kinds of conclusions as to what's happening, when in fact it's just doing it's thing, treat them right, feed them right and that's all it takes, best of luck and I'm sure you'll do fine.

Welcome to RIU, as the others have said, it really is easy to grow pot. A little bit of reading on the basics and you're ready to go and if the first grow isn't that great, remember that we've all been there!!
