Not when one considers that corporations are people.
Corporations are a legal fiction designed to shield. They exist because government allows them to exist. They ensure that individuals will not be reponsible for their behavior or be made to restitute those they have harmed.

Government works much the same way as a Corporation in that they can "spread the blame around" and get away with behaviors that you or I would find reprehensible.

The difference is that in many cases you cannot sue the government like you can a corporation. You simply have no recourse.

Your recourse is either to organize voting blocks or to run for office yourself. Say... I thought the right (I presume you are somwhat on the right) didn't cotton to no punk ass lawsuits and would rather lawyers be permanetly on the bottom of the ocean, after all, torts inhibit free enterprise, don't they.

or you can petition the government for a redress of grievances.

boo yah, second time i've deferred to the constitution in this thread.
