I have an indoor grow room that gets real hot in the summer, so I shut it down during the summer. If I wanted to start up the room on Oct. 1st, could I start seeds outdoors on Sept. 1st, or am I going to have to go through the whole re-veg process, adding a lot of time to the grow?
I'm aware of the ramifications of budding and the re-vegging a mature plant, but I have never contemplated it with a seedling.
I'm pretty sure where I am has a 12 hour night by 9/1. Could I set a timer to turn on a light in the middle of the night to stop the budding? How long would such a light have to be on for? I've read about this in the Mel Frank book, but I've never heard of people actually doing it.
