hey every body. i am a hydro grower and new to the outdoors but i have 4 little babies right now that i have in those little dixie cups outside. i am planning on buyin some soil so that i can put them in bigger pots, but i am eventually goin to put them into the ground. how big do the plants have to be to be put into the ground?can i also would like to use manure in the holes that i dig for the plants, is this a good idea? also the plants right now are small prolly a week old, just about to get the 2cnd set of leaves, one of them has a purple color at the base of the edge of th e leaves?

if you use manure, make sure it is well rotted manure. fresh manure is high in nitrogen. as far as transplanting, usually 4th or 5th node will be safe.

it will be dry and flakey if well rotted. if your getting it from a farm you will be able to find it like that and use as a soil ammendment
