starting late

just got my hand on some clone i was wondering if i veg indoor through the month of August in put them outside by begin September to flower , would i still get a good yield? by the way im in central California

Outdoor plants will begin flowering within the next week or so if they haven't already, so time certainly isn't on your side. Do you get any frost where you live? Theoretically, you can grow up until heavy frost.

How big are your clones? You might be better off just putting them out now or within the next week or two and seeing what happens. It's kind of a catch 22. If you put them out now, the plants will be smaller, but you'll have the stronger sunlight and longer days to build solid buds. If you veg for a month and then put them out, the plants will be much bigger, but you'll have much shorter days with less intense sunlight. Honestly, I'd try talking to some other cali growers and getting their opinion.

im mostly worry about the sunlight if not being strong enough during the late November, i don't wanna end up with some fluffy bud..probarly a 2 1/2 week vegg wont hurt im gonna try to pull atleast 3oz from each baby clone.
