I am goin to grow outdoors this year and wanted to start my seedlings in a small grow box before moving them to the great outdoors. I have a few questions, i plan to have them inside for about 1-2 weeks, how much light/wattage should I give them for 12 plants

for fresh germed seedlings you won't need much light, put 2, better 4 cfl's horizontal right above them and they get more than necessary. just watch out that those cfl's are just an inch or less away from the seedlings so that they won't stretch towards the lights!;)
