Yo, i'm currently starting a grow room in the crawl space in my house. the area is not so large, but its prime because i was only planing on growing two plants. the room has some unreachable crevasses that lead outside, and has no windows or ventilation. My primary concern at the moment is the heat. during the day it can reach up to 90 degrees. i placed some fans in the room, figuring that it would cool it down by bringing air from outside circulating it throughout the room. although in brought it down a couple degrees, it is still to hot. so if anyone has any tips on cooling without spending a large some of money that would be cool.

3rd floor attic apt crawl-space user/abuser here....

were f**ked bro.... F**KED!!!

no easy fix, basically doomed to a late fall through early spring season, countering the lo-temps with the high wattage high heat fixtures/bulbs... with a heater for when the lights go out during flowering, even then i find most these "finished" crawl-spaces are shottily insulated, usually not sealed and even if they are-are right under the hot ass roof------more of a problem late spring through summer but still there..

im gonna be battling temps in my crawl-space/closet through flowering (im on day 3 12/12) and there is no cheap easy fix to temps man...

i used to look at these spaces when i first started smoking/growing and thought "man i wish i had one of these" now that im older and have one im cursing it out...

if applicable save up some money, move to CA, rent a house a have at it.....

If it's only reaching 90*, you could probably buy a 6" fan with a variable controller and vent it pretty well. I would also look at insulating as much as possible. I worked out some real issues with my room but I fine tuned it enough for complete success now.

well that's a bummer... i will try my hand to insulate and ventilate as much as possible, but if it doesn't work out it looks like i will have to play the waiting game till fall
