starting first grow!

Well been reading though this site for awhile figured id finally do a post...
equipment:
-mylar around all the walls
-fox farms ocean forest soil
-2 2 foot floro grow lights
-rain water

Only growing 1 plant.
day 8 today plant is doing really good already has 4 serrated leaves. been running the lights 24 hours a day every day. temp have been maintained at 72f-78f. just ordered the fox farms trio nutriets pack today....just kinda wanna make sure im off to a good start... few questions tho...1 i water using a water mister how should i water when using nutrients?
2 about how long till i get into veg state?
3 when should i start using the nutrients?

1. When using nutrients your will have to mix your nutes into a certain amount of water....generally being a gallong according to directions of most nutrient bottles.

2. Well you are already in veg state bro. As long as you don't swith the lights down to 12/12 or so you will be in Veg state. If you meant to ask how long will you be in Veg state then it all depends on you....You can veg for as long as you'd like really.

3. Depends on what Medium you are using. I'm using Fox Farm Happy Frog and I won't fertilize for about 2 weeks ago....due to nutes already being in the soil. Just plain 7.0ph water til then.

Check the pH of the soil and from there you can decide when and how much to use. Some people add nutes even if the pH level is about right to boost plant growth it all depends on how you want to do it, with time you develop your own schedule of when you feel like it is best to start the nutes. Some people like to add nutes while in seedling stage some veg some only flower it all depends try the 2 week mark since the plant will be strong and able to show what is wrong with it before it goes completely bad.

Thank yall so much...can anyone recommend a good ph tester(from amazon)? i dont have ANY stores around where i live so i usually just order stuff off amazon...some people may be confused that i have no stores around me, the closest walmart is 220 miles away so i usually just stalk up once a month...

Personally I would love to live that many miles away from the city fresh air and less cops to tell you what you can or can't do and everyone is friendly and helps each other out in smaller places

dam is right!!! fresh air no cops and everyone is friendly and helps each other out...put it to you this way when was the last time you just waved to a stranger???? happens all day everyday here
