Starting a Taxi Company.

So me and my buddy are thinking of starting a taxi company. Anyone out there have any experience running a taxi company? We know we need the car, the insurance, local municpal license, state license inspection on meter, a meter, to get started. Anyone have any input on it?

It depends on where you are. If you are in a city, you will be spending quite a bit on a license, I know NYC it's over 100k. Also a clean driving record and a lot of states have special licensing processes.
