Hello there, I am new here, not my first post but i've been reading alot on this board. Ive seen incredibly brilliant hydroponic systems, the vert (poooowaaa), and beautiful setups.

I am looking to start my first grow room, to learn the tricks of the trade, on a small scale, but I have a nice little 5 x 10 and 6 x 9 L shaped room that I would like to setup probably with 2 HPS 600watt Balast / bulb for blossom.
I have a smalled closet, prob 3 x 5 to veg, make clones and maintain them alive.

I was thinking of going towards hydroponic, without having real experience with it, I do understand the basics of plumbing and draining.

I have been thinking of doing the "Dr Green Grow room" setup from the youtube videos.

Making on a larger scale, flooding bins, with overflooding drains, with rockwool and clay pelets.

My questions are:

A) is that a good setup to start out

B) what kind of ballast ? Magnetic or Digital (Lumatek or sun) ? Is there an economy on the electric consumption with digital? because obviously they sell for around the same price.

C) Is there any newbie proof automatic controllers for fan and heather and probably humidifier that turn on and off on digital readings?
if so what about this one? good for heating/cooling - http://www.ebay.com/itm/HYDROPONIC-...057?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc5697ae9

D) Do the exhaust & inlet fan have to be always on? or can they be matched with the previous units to be turned on when the temperatures goes up too much?

E) As for the control panel or board that everyone seems to be making, is it a good idea to have it outside the grow room away from the humidity or inside for easier tweaks?

Thank you for your time
