Some of the Autos can still take 90-100 days(from seed) to finish. But, I love them. It's so nice not having to worry about light schedules and light leaks causing hermie. Also, you can pull decent yield from them too.

I'm looking to upgrade my lights and build a new box and start a perpetual myself. My goal is that by April, I'm on a cycle to harvest 4 plants, every 3 weeks. Good luck! If you start this, and you do a thread following your perpetual grow, I'll definitely sub up to see how it goes

That's the beauty of true autoflowering strains is that they flower according to their genetics with no regard to their photoperiod whatsoever. So yes, they will continue to flower when the outdoor light changes to 12/12 as well as being able to thrive in flower under 24/0 and anywhere in between. The ruderalis cross adds this characteristic as it has evolved in extreme, northern climates with greatly varying periods of light throughout the year. It is very possible to have multiple outdoor harvests each year, even a perpetual as you have stated.

It will flower under 12/12 most likely "fine" but it will be getting at least 1/3rd less light than 18/6-20/4 would give it so you will get less yield in longer time most likely.

Its the greatest thing ever stop planting at the end of July and if u are really serious look into using colloidal silver to make your own fem auto seeds cause its gonna cost an arm and a leg if u have to buy all those seeds. With that method all u need is 2 fem autos and you can make hundreds of fem seeds for the summer :)
