Standard screw in LED illumination lights utility, cree, philips -VS- CFL

So can I use the standard screw in LED illumination lights in place of the standard CFL lights in a small seed starting set-up ??

Yes.........I suggest you purchase quality brands like cree/Philips/osram......good luck

I already got a ass load of cree philips and utility for free, and all the light sockets in my home are already filled with LED so I might as well put them to use

You're swapping your seed starter CFL's for LED's???
But you intend to stick with HID's for VEG/FLOWER???

If you can, I would use a Cree 5000k and 2700k in a 1:1 ration in veg and anywhere from 2:1 to 4:1 for anything else.

I vegged two plants each in a 2 gallon pot with just 4x the Cree SW's. Pretty amazed at the succes of LED's. Time for an SGS!
