I started these plants with Heat Lamps... yes heat lamps... stupid, I know...
I switched to 6500k CFL's after about 4 weeks into Vegg. Now it's about 1 week later and I tied all of them down and lowered the lights hoping to do some kind of good.
This is where I'm at... any opinions will be Enormously appreciated!!
I started germing new seeds that are about a day away from planting. And I have learned a small lesson about Light. Needless to say this is my first grow...
Thanks!!

it looks as if there not getting enough light??also if the temps are high and the lighting is low the plants tend to stretch alot .how old are they?? and you could try topping them once they get to your desired height as it will concentrate its growth "sideways.they could also do with some nutes cause they look hungry and pretty droppy.

any more questions be free to ask!!

They are 5 wks old right now. I gave them a drink last night. The temp is around 70. I have 8 - 6500k CFL's on for 18hrs. I used Miracle Grow in the water last night. Should I untie them and stand them back up, or leave them tied down?

try alfoil on the walls for more light reflection for the leaves at the bottom and i would definetly recomend tying down and topping in acouple of weeks.

have the lights on 24hours stand them back up cause its probably doing more bad then good (stressing out the plant) also if your planning on planting more seeds that may be the way to go .fresh start ,learn from your mistakes, watch out for overwatering, try to bring the lights close to the plants give them nutes at 3 weeks, have good drainage at the bottom .also when it first starts growing it may stretch naturally so try cover up 2/3 which can help in Lankiness

Ok cool thanks. Cover up 2/3 of what?? And how much longer should I have the lights on 24hrs before switching to 12/12? Like what should I be looking for with these?

just top em and get those lights as close as ya can although they appear to be all ready that should get all the new growth closer together but thats just my opinion lol
also leave em tied down tying down causes very little stress

At this point, you may want to add some soil to the top of your bucket around the stem for support. Also maybe get a fan blowing on them to thicken the stems.

2/3 of the lanky stem that grows beneath the VERY first set of leaves. you have the lights on for 24hours so it has optimal growth and once you got it to your desired size switch to 12/12 which will switch it to flowering. the longer you let it grow under 24hours means the more it will grow and then it will grow bigger better buds!!!

p.s have you heard of "topping"

I heard of topping through reading on here. But not sure how it's done...
What do I do, how do you "Top" a plant?
And what's the purpose?
I have a box fan blowing on them constantly.
Should I add more soil past the little bottom leaves closest to the soil? Or don't go past the small little leaves at the bottom?

there already stretch you might as well just lst them.plus low stress train and topping ggives you the same outcome except without all the trauma and stress that comes with topping keep them tied down and continue what your doing they seem too be doing better since those heat lights are gone.plus lst is space effecient

once you get to a nice height you cut off the NEWEST growth possible so it cant grow vertically anymore and concentrates its growth "sideways" if you know what i mean, so it will produce i nice healthy bush!
