Theres Politicians that know, that sufferers want their rights to grow,
Yet, theyre buying a stairway to medication.
They push their drugs legally, while they eradicate ours free-ly,
With a word, they declare U.N.civil war.
And theyre buying a stairway to medication.
Theres a plaque on the wall, stating A fair Go For All,
But these words are now simply deceiving.
They dont care if youre crook, just to their own drugs they cling,
For this crime they just cant be forgiven.
Oo-oo-ooh and it makes us wonder. Oo-oo-ooh and it makes us wonder.
We suffer from pain and disease, but still they put us ill at lease,
While the Worlds children still cry for freedom.
Yes, the truth must be told, that human rights are bought and sold,
And the choices of the free have been denied them.
And theyre buying a stairway to medication.
Why is that control and wealth get put before public health?
With Politicians not listening to reason.
Their drugs continue to fail, with side effects and death entailed,
Creating one hell of a toxic disaster.
Oo-oo-ooh, oh-wo-woah.
Yet theyre still buying a stairway to medication.
And while they force their toxic load,
They tell our herbs to hit the road!
They deny a lady we all know,
Called Mary Jane who just wants to grow,
As Indica or malawi Gold.
This prejudice is getting old.
Social segregation from the past,
We need the right of self control.
Yet, theyre still buying ..a stairway ..to medication!
