Stainless steel hose clamp in res

Is it safe? If not, does anybody know a alternative, other than nylon hose clamps?

stainless should be OK, as long as its all stainless not just the band. I've had em with non a stainless screw.
a good zip tie maybe?

You're not going to have any problems with a quality ss product. If it's on the hose in the rez it's the only one in contact with solution. You shouldn't be worried about this.

check clamp with a good magnet.
stainless is generally non magnetic.
SS is the only metal I'd use coming in contact with nutes.

If you use bleach in your rez it will eventually corrode the SS.

I don't.... and that is an example of something I was unsure about. My nute res is for my dtw auto water coco, so no bleach. What about h2o2?

I only use platinum hose clamps in my res. Never had an issue.
