Hey, i am further into the grow and i have moved my plants into my grow box. I have not seen the roots getting close to the bottom yet so i still leaving them in the plastic cups. Right now all the plants are still under CFLS. I just got a 175 w Mh and a 100w HPS with a reflector that will fit both bulbs. I know that the wattage isnt that great but i dont want my grow space to get on fire.

My first question is How far into the grow should i start using metal halide?

How far away from the plants should the 175 w, 20000k mh be from the top of the plants?

Should i get a cooling fan to keep the 2 x2 x4 grow box from getting to hot. On the bottom of the box there is 3 vents.

The box has no opening in it except the 3 screened vents but there covered and the cord openings and the box is in a closet, all zipped up. Do you guys think i need somthing to produce C02 in there. If so what.

this is my largest plant

I think heres a problem with this plant what do you guys think, from day one its been odd.It took the longest to germinate the longest to come out of the dirt and the leaves are droopy and the colors different.

1st thing i noticed those babys need water that soil looks very dry man, Id also keep them there under the cfls untill you re-pot them then i would switch on the MH, Yea a cooling fan is always recommened it will keep things cool plus make enough co2 to keep them plants happy , ..... goodluck with your grow man ,,

not one of those plants look under watered, they are all perky with no droop at all. Overwatering is a bigger problem than underwatering. Don't listen to them they look fine. Only thing I noticed that looked wrong is that they are in see through cups. Roots hate light. You should transplant before roots start to show.

The soil is bone dry you spacer , They need to be nice and moist at this stage .

Bone dry my ass take a look at them again. You can actually see the wet soil in most of em. Fucking mook.

Actually, the darker one is very droopy compared to the others,, About an hour after i sprayed it down it looked much droopier then the others. I weaterd all the plants good today, if that one does better i will increase watering rather then decrease. As far as the cclear cups go, i have read different thoughts on this method. Some poeple swear by clear cups others say there terrible. I thought id use them so i could see when the roots start treaching the bottom. So i could klnow when to transplant. Is there a better method to use to know when to transplant?

They look good man once you repot them in new bigger homes they will just fill out and grow rapidly ...........When your starting of new clones or seeds its always best to spray and keep the top of the soil nice and moist . peaceeeeee.
