I transplanted a 3.5 week old reserva privada ogk into a 3 gal. pot with half ss and half roots a couple weeks back. It fried the hell out of it for the first 7-10 days, but now it's doing just fine. Maybe a bigger buffer layer when transplanting would keep it from getting the "hot feet"? The new growth is taking off like crazy now, so once it's rooted well you should be good to go.
