my wife and i have been married 28 years. her 46 me 48 we have 2 12year oldchildren.iwas permantly disabled 7/1/11 she has been a housewife she receivrs $273amonth i get$942. dont like the idea but would we get more if we were divorced? could she be my care provicer? we live i ar.we have daughter who just turned 18 ifits just ended will they resume when she starts college this fall?

I have no idea about the divorce thing but your 18 year old should be covered till she is 26. ???

I'll blame those who underfund Social Security for getting people turned down. It's ridiculous to blame some guy who's living near 50% of the poverty line.
