Sprout trouble

So im not so great at getting my seeds to start as im impatient as a motherfucker to the extent that I dig the seed halfway out of the soil every day (day 2 today) since germination just to see how its doing (im gentle) but one pot didnt yield any almost out of ground sprout so i dug all through the pot and emptied it out and sifted through it to find this seeds tap was only out 1cm so I rested it less than half a centimeter from the surface. Am I a bad parent? and am I stressing these guys out to much?

Im trying to control myself but im so excited about starting to learn lst fimming topping and SCRoG techniques instead of letting it grow how it wants to : /
