This is pricy but if it's worth it to you a hrv unit would help. We use these with new builds to exchange air in homes. It's more for cold areas but you can use something similar. Or I'd even just get a big inline fan to hook up to those ac exhaust on temp/ humidity control. Get that ac exhaust air out of the house. You can put into your rim board and out of house...... This isn't just for springtails. They're around no matter what but this would help your grow a ton if it's getting real hot.

Are you an HVAC person? Where do you live? Woke up and basement was 79 degrees turned air on for 30 mins and it got the basement down 2-2.5 degrees around 77... It doesn't effect my grow, my humidity is mid 50's.

I got the DE that's pet friendly. My question is can I just sprinkle this all through my basement without worrying about breathing it in?

I wouldn't take a big breath of it like most things. I doubt your lungs would like it. I mask up for most stuff though. Neem etc. Just good habit. I don't think you need to go too crazy with the de. Just sprinkle on perimeter or areas you see them at.
