So i planed 2 seeds friday of last week and my plants just sprouted today i didnt germinate them i just buried them in the soil inside. The problem is that the root is sticking out of the soil along with the leaves and the root is higher up than the leavs so the leaves are curving downward to the soil. Should i just let it grow and straighten out or should i replant it some other way? i also have light on them 24/0 if that matters.

Bury your root in the dirt, and and if the leaf kinda goosenecks on top of soil it will straighten out in time.

I would lay the whole thing on its side then bury it all except the leafs.

The root will not survive in open air. It will die. Next time germinate a little longer so you have a long tap root, just don't bury deep. 2 seeds deep is plenty.

If you get the tap root under soil it will survive, now the top needs to be above soil to survive. Trust me it will survive. Once you do this be patient and no over watering.

You can cut the bottom off and set it in the hole or let it dry just a little, then squeeze the cup and loosen soil then she will pop right out with most of the soil around rootball.

I can't believe no one has said -What you describe here is perfectly natural. NO problems AT ALL. this will happen EVERY time you plant a seed and it sprouts. Thats how it works.
"the root is higher than the leaves" yes It will be. EVERY time. If its not then you have a problem. Plant another seed, you'll see it does the same thing! Good luck with your grow!

How it it perfectly normal for a rootlet to come out of the earth/medium ? I have never seen this before? And I know its normal for the rootlet to gooseneck down into the soil, but out of the soil is unnatural do to the fact it would die outside of the soil in harsh condition like dryness, air, and light.

You are absolutely right! thats why that is not what happened. It seems that we are interpreting what the poster said somewhat differently, that is all. What the poster is calling the "root" i believe is actually the "stem" which to an inexperienced grower would be easy to confuse with the root. because it looks JUST LIKE THE ROOT, and in fact is the root but its the above ground portion of it, and will turn into the actual stem.
I came to this conclusion because it would be IMPOSSIBLE for the actual "root" to escape the soil and end up "above" the leaves
Does this make sense now?
To me what the poster described (albeit poorly) is perfectly natural and happens EVERY time. Perhaps we will never know without a picture.

I'm sure the next day when the sprout was standing straight up normally the poster realized that its normal. I'll be suprised if we hear from him/her again.
