Hi,
here are some pictures of my budding green-o-matic. I am not sure exactly how old it is now, but it has been flowering for about 2 weeks now and is showing well now. Unfortunately, the leafs are starting to show these brownish specs. In the picture you can see where it is grown and the sun setting in the west. The picture is taken from the southeast and the plant gets south, southeast, and eastern light mostly. Do you think this is enough sunlight? Why is the plant getting these spots? Are the two linked?? Also, this is being grown in miracle grow potting soil. I have used this soil before and my only concern might be overfertilization? I have not been using any nutes and plant couldnt be more than a month old, probably closer to 3 weeks.
Thanks for the advice, i will post pics later when she is harvesting.

give it nutes... at least test it, a high P mixture for flowering is good, but to get it used to nutes use a low number formula i use schultz african violet 9 14 8 solution its a good one, water soluble... ur leaves look a bit pale which might be lack of Nitrogen, gotta test it... ace hardware garden section.is only one side of the plant getting specks? the bottom leafs getting specks? specify please :) ill be watching.

i think the spots are on all leaves all over the plant, although, this is the worst leaf. The big brown spot, that isnt a dot, is unique to this leaf. This plant was started ona west facing window sill untill about 5 days ago when it was relocated to its current spot. Growth has probably been slowed due to a lack of light, but it has been a free grow and i can see some bud starting so i am happy :)
I am hesitant to feed this puppy because it is not even 4 weeks old, maybe 3. Also, miracle grow advertises that it feeds plants for up to 3 months. So i would guess that it doesnt need to be fed. Are there cheap soil testers available at walmart perhaps?
Thanks

Wait is it in Miracle Grow soil? Because theres this guy I know who is using to much nutes and using them every watering and his GOM looks just like that. Exactly like that.

is that a joke? I state in my post that it is miracle grow, no wondering there;D. But, it has been in miracle grow since day one. So, if it was going to be nute burn it would have gotten it a lot earlier. No, this happened when the plant was moved outside. I am concerned that it might be bugs.
Is your friend realy growing an identical plant to mine in the same soil? Maybe this haze has me paranoid lol but it seems unlikely
