i think that may have been my problem, ive worked my ass off my whole life and usually dont complain, i have never went to the doc for pain or aches until i got laid off a couple months ago. i only had insurance for a month after so i went to the chiropractor to see if he could help me out, and found out about my condition for the first time.i dont gimp around or talk about pain with others because i think its depressing, haha. the lady that got her card ahead of me by the way, had a knee brace on the outside of sweats and switched which way to gimp like 3 times haha. i have to laugh so i wont cry. but really is there any place in town that waves the fee if you dont have an income. i will smoke regardless it would just be nice to have the peace of mind, and i think it would be cool to part of something. be able to tell my stories to others and encourage people to try it if it makes them feel better.

whats the best dispensary around town here? the prices are freakin rediculous. usually its anywhere from 240 to 320 a zip.... everyone here knows it costs much less to produce a zip than that.... so wheres the love? I contacted a dispensary who when asked for prices, replied that the standard is 300 and that anyone who sells it for less is "ruining the industry." i appreciate marijuana is making some progress into our everyday lives, but i would much rather have a system where weed is treated just like the herb that it is, instead of just a way to make a quick buck..... anyway haha basically im just looking for the most fair dispensary around

There are therads here to show you how to grow your own and it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. I think you will find it's not as easy to grow as you may think. 300 is how ever too much. If your going to be in the Seattle area send me a pm.

i completely agree. i know its not easy to grow. i have just a couple harvests under my belt but i still think that the level of difficulty should not be taken out on the patients. As you probably know, the law in WA states that you are only allowed to accept a "donation" that pays for the costs of producing the weed. actually, next time ill be in seattle will be around the time of hempfest next year. i went the last 2 years and i wont miss that shit this year haha. but i will definitely hit you up for sure. maybe meet and toke down or some shit

I'm a current card holder in Denver, and it looks like we might get relocated to fricken Sandpoint ID area. The Mrs. refuses to commute from Spokane(I knew that shit was a long shot), is my only hope going to be moving to Newport? How back water is that going to be? I'm starting a seed bank that I'm afraid I'll have to keister all the way across the potato fields, and I'll just grow if the Newport doesn't pan out.
Any suggestions?

Before I started growing my own I was paying roughly 200 an oz but that was 3 years ago... I sell mine to a dispensary for a little less than 180 oz... I decided not to start a co-op since some people just cant be trusted and I have kids... Its just easier to sell it in bulk to a dispensary and give them the trouble of finding customers :P

I think you need to do a little research my friend, perhaps watch Weed Wars or Weed Country to find out what the average price is for cannabis. While the cost of growing any given ounce is surely less than $300 per ounce, you must remember that we are not growing oranges or wheat; to quote the great moonshiner Barney, "Don't they know this shit's illegal?" You are no position to tell people what they should or shouldn't charge for their herb until you open a store of your own-

I didn't pop on here to put down this kid, but to congratulate the dispensaries and vendors that are still operating despite all the challenges and risks that daily threaten our livelihood and very lives. Congratualtions Spokane for keeping a scene when other places couldn't!
