I have some quality medicine but don't know the best venue.
Can you buy and sell ounces on craigslist now because ounces are legal?
What is the consequence?

As far as I know, patient to patient "donations" are still ok. However without an authorization, you have to buy it from a 502 store which doesn't exist yet.

You know the answer already! Hell no it don't make any sense at all. Well at least the country is growing more acceptable of MJ, but it is going to be a learning experience along the way. We could be going the other way where it is criminal to even have it on you.

Im pretty sure that is what they say.
But does that make any sense?

My understanding as of the writing of this post is that only possession of up to on ounce is legal.
Everything else must still be kept underground.
Bottom line: If you complete a marijuana transaction with an undercover cop, you will go to jail.:dunce:
You can possess it but, you can't buy it, sell it or grow it:wall:
Washington State, through the power of the voters, has thrown us a big green bone. Don't over analyze it.

Give it time fellow Stoners. The laws are going to jump forth and back for awhile and hopefully at some point we can all at least grow a few plants legally at our homes.

I'm waiting for the first suit claiming that if you can own it, you can sell it. It could be looked at from the property rights viewpoint.

In Colorado one may give away but not sell or trade cannabis, but if it's yours then you should have the right to sell it. That's a long held legal position used in other situations...

Heads up Snaps.
You also can't sell alcohol without a license. You can possess it, buy it, use it, share it(with people over 21), and even produce it(up to the limits of the law).
You can also possess/own drugs prescribed by your doctor(mmj included) but you can not resell those drugs legally.

And I'm sure the list goes on and on and on etc, so on and so forth........

;)Maybe some other readers have a few good examples of things we can own, but not sell.;)

Except for cannabis, I have little interest in politics but, my basic understanding is that laws(and the rules within) are privileges, NOT rights. If we obey the laws we keep our privileges. If we break the laws then......hmmmm?
And "We The People" have the "right" (through our voting "privileges") to decide what those laws are and who is in charge of outlining the details.
Enough said on that.:spew:

If you want to know what your rights are, read the U.S. Constitution.
:leaf:Or get caught selling dope to an undercover cop. After you are under arrest, your rights change and they are extremely limited. But don't worry, the cop will tell you exactly what those rights are at the time of arrest so there will be no confusion.

:weed:Don't get me wrong Snaps.:peace:
I dream of the day when I could set up a roadside stand to sell my surplus crops right along side of any common roadside produce stand. Or at the farmers market...

Well, decades ago I dreamed of the day when it would be legal to smoke pot and well........
