ok so im 7 weeks into flower and i just got spider mites. i have this GOnats stuff but im worried about spraying this close to harvest. anyone got any suggestions? should i just let them go? what effect will they have on my plant?
 
It depends how much longer you have to go, and how bad is the infestation is. If you are just a week away then I would just wait and cut it down. If you have 2-3 weeks and the infestation is bad then you should be ok to treat it for a week or so but watch out for mold this late in the flower cycle.
 
yeah im not sure but i think i still got a couple weeks. my hairs are just starting to turn red in a couple spots but im still lookin to find a magnifying glass to check the trich's is there any other way to tell about how much longer i have?
 
What about the possibility of using spider mite Preditors? You can get them from most Plant and Garden stores. Except for the big chains like Lowes, WalMart or others.
 
you probably should get a magnifier now,not to check the ripeness but to see how advanced the mite problem is.is there no place that sell magnifieng glass.
 
just havnt had the extra money. i went ahead and sprayed it down with a half strength solution of the goGnats. i just lightly misted it and then shook it to get the big drops off. got my fingers crossed. i had to spray it the infestation was gettin pretty bad. jst about every fan leaf had webs and black dots all over. im just gonna wait about 2-3 weeks to harvest now.
