Spider mites, White Fly & Alcohol

my girl has mites, and small webs forming. She is just starting the first week of flowering. Is it too late to use the alcohol and water spray?

The alchol did not work for me! I bomb'd with pyrethium tr 3 times and using clean air purge to keep them away! So far so good, anything that hits the room is dead with in a matter of time.

I am sorry what do you do? I know you bomb the room 3 times then what else? (To Keep them away?) please let me know i hate these little guys! i have hear the AVID works is this TRUE?

I am using pyrethrum TR for the bombing, let off 1 cand wait 3 day's then do it again. Next I sart using SMC and bio neem A week after the last bomb! Alternate evey 2 weeks with those products and spray them once every 4 day's at night. I am also using clean air purge, and I have not had any mites since I have started doing this application.....

Hey guys I noticed somebody earlier asked this question and nobody answered: Do you apply your pesticide methods(soapy water, alcohol and spray) with lights on or off?

Do it with light's off! Youcan burn your plant's if not!

Hey, what up all? Ive read the thread and it has given me a great amount of info. So I was getting ready to go hiking for my outdoor grow, And went to take a look at how my girls in veg were doing when i noticed these little marks on my leaves in my veg room. Low and Behold Fucking spider mites. I don't really have a lot of them, but I want to get rid of them as soon as possible. Once I do the alcohol method and there gone is there a good way to prevent them little fuckers from coming back. Or is this going to be a reoccurring problem. Thanks Peace

There are some spray's you can use! Like a product called SMC and bio neem! If you are going outdoor I don't know how well they will work....

Well the spider mites are in my indoor grow and I don't want it to be an all the time problem.. so trying to stop it now. Thanks

Well since they are indoor's try bombing and then move to the other treatments

Well folks, it's time for me to set the record straight. As I was the one to start this thread, I feel compelled bring you up to date on my situation.

The alcohol/H2O DID work for me, but only short term. Until 3 weeks ago, I was losing
the battle and several of my girls were showing stress from the mites & the alky mix!

I found a local outlet for Azatrol. 100% success! I'ts $50 a pint but well worth it.

They are all thriving now, my problem now
is incredible jungle to contend with!

Hey Disc, not at Lowes. I got mine from a garden shop that caters to "bean" growers.
You may have to go online & just google it, you'll have to sift though and find your best deal.
And watch out for "shipping", some of those outfits will lowball you on price then stick you on the

Alcohol? THC is soluble in alcohol. Doesn't spraying with alcohol wash away some THC?
I've known people that use ladybugs. The mites are wiped out in a day or two. I think you have to protect the light or something because they fly into it.

Grandma, I only spray the UNDERSIDES of the LEAVES, LIGHTLY. Not too concerned about THC problems there.

can anyone tell me why this is happening i was told it was spider mites but i havent been able to see any ive been sprayin with neem oil and it just keeps getting worse about 10 leaves have fallen off. please help im desprate at this point

You will see the mites for sure! Are there any form of webs around them? It looks like they are in flower correct? Have you sprayed anything else on them?

no webs i dont see anything except one or two flies once in a while i used a spray solution of 50 50 water and alcahol and yes they are flowering i believe i only have 2 maybe 3 weeks left, ima check the 'crystals' tonight when the lights come on
