What is the dilution ratio?

Does hydrogen peroxide help with mites?
it's usually a 2 to 1 ratio, water to alcohol, but I've seen 1 to 1 used before too. People even hand wipe the leaves with alcohol in bad cases, but I would do a few test leaves if you go that route. Some strains have leaves that are super sensitive to alcohol or citric acid. Botaniguard is supposed to be a very effective biological control. Citric acid is my favorite though, and regular neem during veg should prevent any in flower, just for future reference.

Yes 2-1 works best. If you use 91% or if that's only available, do 3-1. I've heard about peroxide but I've never tried. I'm only speaking on my experience with mites. I haven't seen any of those fuckers after trying every other method lol IPA for the win!!!

I should also mention, spray every few days just to be on safe side with lights OFF. Wicked cheap and effective. $4 a 32 Oz bottle that lasts me about a month.

@VolimPicke for cuts, I dunk them directly into a big bowl full of the mix alcohol solution. count to 30, shake off the excess, then rinse with tap water and let them air dry as they sit in a new cup of water/Azos.

When using a good amount of IPA be sure to have good air circulation with windows open. The fumes will build up, leading to possible :fire::fire::fire: if a open flame is introduced. Hope this helps

Use Spinosad or Captain jack's Dead Bug Spray, works great. If you're concerned about your buds, just spray the leaves, although I've used it for budworms within one week of harvest, didn't affect the taste

I dealt with spider mites for an entire year.

Week 7 of flower. Predatory mites are a waste of money and time. Have you guys serious dealt with mites in late flower? I have. I’ve harvest multiple times with an ongoing spider mite problem that I kept at bay but didn’t get rid of until a year later after trial and error with ipm products and diligence.
Sns knocked out my mite problem right away and never had the issue again. I keep some around and spray veg room maybe once a season. This is the kinda thing where prevention is much easier than action.

I use the shit cuz it worked

Yeah , used SNS 17 and 209 . Both are rosemary based , worked good , but thinking it could be DIY made.

I use Build A Soil’s essential oil and emulsify it with Dr Bronners Soap. It Potent! Look at the list of goodies! Way cheaper than sns. I have a mix ratio for preventing and a mix ratio for outbreak (war). it makes a great foliar.

I also like to stagger this spray with PureCrop1 and Dr Zymes as a IPM weekly.

That’s one of the simplest ways to DIY a useful spray , Castile or other simple soap emulsified. Clog up those little fuckers and suffocate.
I also had my “ Def Con 4 “ mix of 2:1 or even 1:1 - ISO alcohol and water. I liked this one because it was hella quick knockdown and alcohol evaporated quickly from green matter. Fine misted. Plant tolerated it well. Bud wash wouldn’t kill ya after choppy time too.

Anyone try a capsaicin based spray ?

I tried years back , boiled some peppers I grew , strained / squeezed in water , added couple drops of veggie oil.
‘It assaulted my nose pretty god damn bad but for any flying pest it repelled the shit out of those . Not sure if mites would be affected.
Mace for my plants I guess. Had to watch “ concentration “ used on leaf as it kinda burned sometimes .
