as some of you mat know I have been fighting a long battle with spider mites, I have used neem, D.E, azamax, mighty wash, you name it I've tired it!

well recently I have broke down and bought some predatory mites to fight along side all my ipm, well it has seemed to work I can't find any signs of recent spider mite damage or any actually spider mites, but I'm still finding black "eggs" maybe and also red looking. eggs I belive the red eggs are the predatory mites eggs.

I'm just looking for some second opinions on how things a really looking! maybe I need more mites, maybe I need more sprays idk!!

IMO, they are "never" gone once they show up... Am also at the end stage of a small scale war with some mites myself...

In the end, I got some Forbid 4f.... its the only shit that works on ALL stages, adults, eggs, all of it...but being the only one that REALLY works..... its costly. Like $250 for an 8oz bottle, but it takes like 1-2ml per gallon... and theres a seller on Amazon shelling out 1oz sample bottles, they seem legit, its what I ordered.

Do you cover your soil? I always put a layer of perlite down about 2 inches thick it seems to keep the crawlers from breeding.

So what will happen is the eggs will hatch, most will be eaten, less eggs will be laid until the predator population overwhelms it's food source. Some predators eat pollen and you can maintain a small population by having some flowers in the area. If you spray now, you risk killing more predators than bad guysd may disrupt their ability to finish them off

I 'had', maybe still have lol...a small issue with them as well for a few months since summer, though no damage that affected anything..either way..got tired of it bothering the two plants under the led..oddly the 4 under hps right next to it are all good...2+ months side by side now. I sprayed during the transition into flower and again 3 days later, and now waiting to do one more round in 2-3 days. Seems after the first one, i couldnt find any moving..though eggs remained as the spray doesn't kill them. It's not for everyone! lol...but here it is....
I chopped very finely...10 habanero peppers (orange)...can use anything hotter like bonnet or scorpion, but becareful for you! lol Heated the chopped peppers in water..just to simmer..NOT boiling point. Added a blended onion/garlic mixture to it and threw in finely chopped dill. Waited for it to cool and then strained it completely so only liquid was left..then in a mister. (2L of spray) Mask/goggles/gloves on..and i went to spray..so far so good...did a 2nd round for the eggs that 'hatched' 3 days later, and will do another one just to be sure...and then when im sure..i will do it one more time, though it will only be pepper solution, no onions/garlic anymore, by then im starting week 3 of flower..so no more spraying! I forgot to add, that roughly 36-48 hours later..i spray it down with water to wash off the solution, i believe its affects wear off by then, this is to kill the adults and interrupt their life cycle so they cant reproduce.

Look; The only way to rid yourself of any mite.....Completely....

Tried them all, only these work.....MUST USE THE REAL THING!

FORBID 4F and/or AVID.

I have not had the "regular" mites in some years. I got rid of them with Forbid....period.

I just won a battle against RUSSET MITES.

Talk about a mite that's a bitch to get rid of?
It took alternating use of Forbid then Avid. Done twice each. On all vegging strains to beat these buggers down....

I got them from being stupid! I did not treat a cpl of incoming clones and isolate them from the actual production grow.

GROW LAW #1

Dip all incoming clones (no matter who they come from) in a pyrethrin mix. Then spray the mix on the media surface and the container.
Let it dry.
Now repeat the process with a Green Cure mix. This kills mold spores and any unseen mold starting.

Be mite free...
