Has anyone tried the new electronic bug
off devices that bowhunters use to keep bugs away while they are keeping hid in a tree so they are not swatting at them giving away they location. Thanks

I have one of those rid-x electronic things from tv right next to my spider mite infested last living plant.

I don't think it's working too well. Might as well just play music for them.

ED Rosenthals Zero Tolerance works great! They have a pesticide and a fugicide! Both work and smell great and are all natural. Works faster then Einstein Oil which is also a great product thet Ive used to kill mites for years.

Where can I get some?

lol, all these fancy fixes....

get some dish detergent (cheapest you can find) and a bottle of neem oil or fruit tree spray (key ingredient HYDROPHOBIC EXTRACT OF NEEM). mix 3tbs of neem + 5 drops or so of dish detergent, and mix with hot water in a 1L spray bottle (fill the bottle 1/5 with hot water, shake). after mixing the soap and neem thoroughly, fill the bottle the rest of the way up with cold water. the solution should then be lukewarm.

the neem oil is a deterrent, and at this concentration, the mites will leave well enough alone. the soap kills them on contact, almost instantly. in addition to killing the living mites, the soap helps to spread the oil over the leaves more thoroughly, providing a better barier. soak bottoms of leaves first, then tops, soak the entire plant til it's dripping. spray every 4 days for at least 2 weeks, to make certain you've broken the reproductive cycle chain.
