ive got a small gnat problem starting up on me, seen two small flying ones at base of stem yesterday one and today just earlier i saw one. this is what i did for a quick fix im hoping it'll help. i sprayed the soil with dish soap/water diluted mix to kill the larvae then added a small saucer of applecider vinegar to lure the flying ones into drowning and away from my plants stem. im going to let my plant soil dry for about 2 maybe even three days so its unsuitable for the eggs/larvae and im going to buy sand to spread over the topsoil, i heard that helps.

any pros out there, i need guidance.:?

heard also nematodes and ladybugs, but i only have one plant so im hoping to not need to bring IN any other bugs to my heez fasheez..

..my tomatoes.

Ive tried the vinegar before and it didn't work. I think its really meant for fruit flies instead. Yellow sticky traps will work well for the adults. Eventually you should get them under control if you use them.

i have them their annoying as hell. i put a cup of plain water in there and the adult ones just fly into it and drown.
