i am using popcorn and spawning to coir/verm and wondering if i should add some nutrients or if it would have enough alone.
 
One thing though. You may be advised to use a little gypsum in the mix, to help up the ph. I believe the gypsum ratio is 10% of the dry material. Other than that. You can add virtually any additives from more pcorn, other grains, manure (dif types, dif ratios), and even a little brown rice flour. As long as your moisture levels are correct.
 
Yes on the gypsum, Lime for ph to keep tric down as well.

But other than that, no extra nutrients required, but people mix shit in all the time.
 
Many mushrooms are primary decomposers - this on is as well. Given that primary decomposition involves breaking down complex and not very "traditionaly" nutritious substances such as straw or coir. Giving a primary decomposer nutrients is a somewhat ambiguous concept. that being said, you might try soy meal, corn meal or cotton seed meal.
