Some pictures of my cucumbers coming along. They are starting to show a couple of flowers. I'm hoping they get pollinated & produce. It's my first time ever growing them & it's really exciting to see them come this far. Any opinions or suggestions are welcome.

They look great! I think the first flowers it will show are male flowers, and the second set, after the male flowers die, are female.

I think I read that in the DWC cuke grow thread? I'm not sure, but check it out anyway it's amazing.

Just passing along some fresh pics of the cukes. They grow more & more everyday. What could pollinate them well besides honey bees??? Thanx for any info.

Does anyone know what nutrients are most important to cukes while they are producing?

Hi All...I figured I would post pictures of their entire life span just so everyone could see what it looks like in each stage of growth.Enjoy!
These first four pictures are the baby pics, transplanted kids pics, & one that tried to live in the compost bin.

These are their teenage pics. I kid you not that these pictures were taken only two weeks after they were transplanted. They grow up fast!

Hi All...I was curious what would be the tell tale sign that this is ready & is there a special harvest technique or should I just cut it off? Thanx for any help.

I Think its Color, but i could be wrong.... im sure its depending on type of cuke..if it was light to begin, then it should get darker...i always wait longest time possible for veggies

My girlfriend is a farmer and is sitting next to me saying that cuke is ready. Just hold onto the vine and pull it off. Good eatin'.
