not much change since last update. buds are bigger. one lemon og is really starting to pack on the weight . hoping for 4 -5 ozs off of her. I also swapped out my 315w cmh and replaced with a 400w. hps. so now I have a 630cmh. and 400w hps in my big tent. ok so the first 3 pics are of my all star lemon og. 4th pic is group shot. front center . front right . and back center are the lemon og.
front left , back left and back right are blueberry. and the last pic is of one of my Blueberry . probably my 2nd best one

Check it out.

Not cal mag issue .. I can guarantee it.
did you ever try supplementing some Epsom salts or other magnesium supplement ? I was re looking at it and they look really healthy and only thing I know that's fixed yellowing issues whem its not that there hungry or lack of calcium or nitrogen. a 1/2 tsp per gal always greens them back up

SOS brand have all been better than what I ordered and they were free. Lemon OG smelled like garlic at trim. Not much lemon flavor going on, but a musky, swampy loud skunky funkiness. Very good smoke you feel in the eyes.

I have to agree. I was surprised when chopping my lemon og down. wasn't any citrus or lemon terps. Plenty have fuel, skunk, and some what spicy. which i think is what your describing as the garlic smell . still though , very good resin production. not great fielders. 1 of my 3 phenos yielded well. the lowest yielding one has the best terps and quality. I'm seriously raving about SOS Blueberry. Guy on this thread that was bashing there blueberry is seriously mistaken . all 3 blueberry phenos smell sweet and fruity. all 3 were decent yielders 2 of the 3 yielded very well. and the resin content is just insane. great bud structure . nice and dense and compact. check out these Blueberry nugs I chopped the other night

Sorry I've not been around bro. After being attacked by my dog twice my habits changed a lot... I'm almost healed up but that's not why I'm posting this...

It's time to congratulate you on a job very well done bro... I'd also like to thank you for the opportunity to live your grow semi vicariously through your regular posting and prompt answering of my Q's..

Now I've gotta get some of that blueberry lol.

I appreciate the compliments man....yeah for a strain that's notoriously difficult to grow like blueberry. These were easier than the lemon og and they stayed healthier through flower as well.....man.....i can't even begin to describe the characteristics of the 3 blueberry phenos after 2 weeks of cure. the texture is perfect....dense.....but slightly squishy. frosted inside and out. 2 out of the 3 have immediate blueberry terpz as soon as you crack the jar. the other one you need to crack a nug and that one smells more skunky fruity than sweet fruity like blueberry usually is. I'll let you know how the taste is here in a couple weeks

I had little interest but now I feel like I gotta give em a go. They look amazing... I'm also really interested in their northern lights. I think I'm going to do some pollen chucking as well. I'm kinda sick of buying seeds and would really like to spend a year or two developing something special. At least the avg yields and poor crosses will mean something eventually lol. Giving the og a shot here in a week or so. Wish me luck... I'll drop some photos when they pop.

Good luck with your hunts man. Yeah pheno hunting is soooo much work. Having to cut a hundred clones and grow them out until you have flowered there mothers out and know which ones to keep . I don't think you will have any better luck making your own genetics. The only thing that creates consistincency in phenos is Stabilizing the genetics by back crossing it to its self multiple times and running them through multiple multiple generations making them stronger and stronger. I researched all this awhile back and found out that old school strains that have been around awhile have the most consistent pheno to pheno characteristics. Simply from running them generation after generation . SO something like Northern lights, white widow, blueberry. All should show similar phenos. Brand new strains, Ecspecially 5050 hybrids that don't have a dominant sativa or indica based gene, will almost always present different phenos.

Appreciate you looking out bro. I'm aware it'll be a pain in the ass. I took both botany and genetics at UCLA so I do understand the unpredictability and massive potential for variations. Not that I got a doctorate in either of them lol. To be clear here my goal would be to make two different strains, stabilize and inbreed for a few generations and then cross those two in hopes of attaining the ever sought after hybrid vigor. It's just a little day dream of mine. Just little fantasies of mine. I don't even know if I'll ever see it through tbh because my wife smokes like a damn chimney and taking risks like that can leave her screwed... I do know that I'm certainly going to start self pollinating the strains I buy just to have my own stock of the seeds.... Thinking about doing the lemon OG depending on your smoke review.

There are also some breeders out there which had made their own RBX3 and 4's which I thought about crossing in hopes of a quick winner. Sannies has an ibl herijuana i wanted to get my hands on regardless of whether or not I chuck. Same with Ethos's chem.... Who knows perhaps those two would make a nice cross lol.

hahaha oh trust me I know that game. my lady smoked from sun up to sundown and I pretty much can't afford to have a failed harvest without getting an ear full lol.

I've got some brand new strains sprouting from a breeder called Sour seeds. Gorilla Killa. ( GG4 X Urkle) and Pineapple crush. hoping to get a solid male out of both to possibly do some breeding. now are you picking two strains to cross for specific reasons.? Like crossing Blueberry with girl scout cookie. Using the short indica characteristics to minimize stretching from the girl scout cookie. I use to work in a garden where the grower was constantly breeding. so I was able to learn that you want to pick two strains that help one another. kimd of lile finding that perfect person to marry
. someone who's strengths are your weaknesses and vice versa
