SOUS Aerogarden Grow Journal I

Hey All,

I have been working on a little set-up of my own and finally feel like its "Go Time". I've paid attention to some of the aerogarden experiments here over the last year or so, and am glad I finally feel like I may contribute something. I also know that some of you out there have some valuable experience, information, and insight that I hope you will share.
I have an Aerogarden unit, some extra T5 lighting, and some extra CFL's (but am not use if I want to use yet). I have started 3 seeds (from reliable friends) that I believe had immediately previous hermaphrodite generation, so I am hoping for 3 females. I beleive one is a Bubba Kush (female master kush pollenated by male bubblebum), one is an African Super Kush (ASK), and I am not quite sure of the third seed, but would bet on a Jade, or purple or kush variety.
I germinated the 3 seeds, and got some progress after 3 days in moist paper towel, so I transfered two seeds and one small rooting plant into the aerogarden pods. I am using three pods, as I am expecting one or two of the plants to not make it (unfortunately). If I am extremely lucky, I will transfer the third into soil to prevent roots from clogging the pump/ filter thing.
Speaking of which, I've been thinking about hanging some fishing wire around in there to keep the roots out of the water (except for the last 1-2 inches) and have water dripping or various parts of the roots. I'm hoping this will also keep roots away from the filter.
For nutrition, I will be feeding my babies with Cutting Edge Solutions product, created by a genius up in Santa Rosa. I've heard great things, its organic, and had some decent results myself, and it keeps a mellow pH. Using some hydroguard to kill pesky microbes, and my water should be a mixture of distilled and filtered water.
The first baby popped its head out of the foam today and the other two are progessing well, with the roots beginnin' to shoot out the bottom.

A few notes:
This grow is for my personal use only. I don't care about a huge yield or ridiculous quantity (I would use other methods), but I care about quality, efficiency, and learning more about what this plant can do. I would love have a clone that auto-flowers in a short time, and is amazing cannabis, but havn't found it yet. So, I'm slowly working there, and am interested in doing something small, and energy-efficiently.

Hopefully you find this interesting, informative, or at least tight. Thanks
